Trout Half Mount Paint Schedule
We do not custom paint our half mounts but regular paint schedule is to paint the trout "lit up" and alive which is most likely what you are looking for and what most customers really appreciate. Brook trout commonly have darkish green and brown backs with goldish vermiculation patters with goldish yellow dots and red dots with blue halos. Lake trout commonly have brownish color backs blending to a golden color with white bellies. Their flanks are littered with white to light tan specklings and can commonly have an orangish tint to their fins and tail. The final step is to clear coat the trout with a UV Protective Urethane clear coat. These beautiful trout are perfect pieces of decoration for your new house, office or Florida room.
