28" Octopus Half Mount - Purple

This purple octopus mount is part of our half sided series. A half sided mount is produced by casting the front part of our two sided wall mount molds. When displayed the circumference of the half mount is either touching the wall or very close to the wall. This process cuts labor and supplies cost and therefore results in a lower price point however the skin texture and finishing process is the same as a traditional full mount. Octopus Mount Paint Schedule

Octopus travel the depths of the deep, in and out of caves, rocks and other structure allowing them to slip away from predators and sabotage unsuspecting bait fish and crustaceans. There are many different types of octopus but one common coloring is a darkish purple blueish color with light spots throughout. Like many fish, octopus can have many different variations of coloring however our standard paint job is as mentioned above. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside. We do not custom paint our half sided series replicas.

We bought this Octopus to mount on the brick wall next to our salt water pool.  We were a little skeptical when we first saw it on line but decided to go for it and are we so glad we did.  It looks great and there is now enough room left on the wall to add a shark to the Octopus and the Dolphin we have.
