Northern Pike roam cold water lakes and ponds in the northern part of the United States, Canada and many parts of Europe. These ferocious predators are know to ambush their prey by lying perfectly still around vegetation until a smaller bait fish swims by. The teeth on a northern pike are very impressive and we take this into consideration when producing a replica of your catch.
Painting Your New Northern Pike Mount
Northern Pike can be very different depending on what part of the country they are caught and also depending on what type of water the fish was in. We encourage you to send us a picture of the pike you caught so we can reference the fish during our painting process giving it the same basic color scheme and same basic markings pattern as your fish. Sometimes the fins of a northern pike are very orangish and sometimes they might have more red or yellow in them.
Shipping A Northern Pike Mount
Unless you have ordered multiple mounts and we are sending your order in a crate and on a freight truck then your northern pike mount will ship via Ground shipment in a cardboard box system we have developed for a safe transit. Our packaging department takes their position very seriously and it shows with our less than 2% damage rate.
Installation Of Your Northern Pike Mount
Each Northern Pike mount will arrive to you with an easy to hang bracket on the backside of the replica. Hold the pike up on the wall, mark the spot where the bracket touches the wall, drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and then hang your new northern pike mount. The "easy level" bracket will allow you to position the shark parallel to the ground or pivoted so that the northern pike mount is either swimming up your wall or down your wall. The choice is yours!
