Description
102" Pacific Sailfish Fish Mount
This 102" Pacific Sailfish Fish Mount is in stock and ready to ship. The images you see within this description and above are pictures of the actual sailfish mount you will receive if you order this item. Pacific Sailfish are one of the 12 different fish that make us the true billfish species. Pacific Sailfish are a sought after game fish with, in our opinion, the most catches by Americans coming from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Los Suenos, Costa Rica.
How We Paint Our Pacific Sailfish Fish Mounts
Since this Pacific Sailfish mount is complete and ready to ship then we cannot paint according to your photo reference. Sailfish and billfish in general have a unique trait with their skin coloring during a fight. As the sailfish exerts energy it normally will start to loose all its electric blue, teals, purples, bronzes and golds that radiant from them in normal swimming activities. Instead the color showcased in many pictures after the fish has been fought, boated and/or killed is a very dark brown/black/blue color scheme that is not very attractive. We paint our sailfish lit up and alive looking as if they were swimming on their own in the ocean. If you are interested in ordering a sailfish and having us customize it to look like the fish you caught we can do so, please visit our Pacific Sailfish Full Mount section and choose the appropriate size and then submit your picture to us.
Shipping The Pacific Sailfish Mount
Pacific Sailfish mounts like this item requires a crate to safely transport from our factory to your home or business location. Feel free to email or give us a call if you would like to obtain a shipping quote prior to ordering. Our crating department is extremely experienced in crate production assuring you of its safe arrival. In the rare instance that something does go wrong during transit from us to you, we will cover all charges on returning the mount and either produce a new replica for you or fix the damage if its possible to do to where no damage is noticeable.
Installing Your Pacific Sailfish Mount
Your new Pacific Sailfish fish mount will arrive to you with an easy to hang bracket on the backside of the replica. Hold the mount on the wall, mark the spot where the bracket touches the wall, drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and then hang your new mount. The "easy level" bracket will allow you to position the mount parallel to the ground or pivoted so that the mount is either swimming up your wall or down your wall. The choice is yours!
