40" Cownose Ray Half Mount

Fish Mount Guarantee This 40" cownose ray half mount is actually a replica of a mature cownose ray. Cownose rays travel throughout the western Atlantic and the Caribbean and is a member of the eagle ray family. They travel in large packs and are highly migratory.

Cownose Ray Replica Paint Schedule

This particular ray is painted in the natural coloring that cownose rays are while racing through the water. Cownose rays can range from a lighter gold coloring to a dark brown. We tried to split the difference and give them a general golden brown color scheme. The final step of the finishing process is to spray a UV protecting clear coat to give it superior protection indoors or outside.

Half Mount Installation

Each mount in our half sided series arrives with a fiberglass hanger on the backside of the mount. This allows easy installation once you receive your new mount. Our ray mounts actually have a hanger on both wings so they can be positioned on the wall to be facing either left or right.
