Snapper MountsSnappers are found in all oceans of tropical and subtropical regions. Snappers are sought after mainly for their delicious table fare and especially the red snapper. Snappers are commonly caught dropping down dead or live bait and normally range in the 1 to 2 feet length. The cubera snapper is the largest of all snappers and has been recorded up to 63" in length.
Some of our snapper mounts are classified as Quick Production mounts. So what are quick production mounts? Quick production mounts are some of the more popular size and specie grouper mounts we sell. We cast the blanks for these mounts ahead of time and in groups allowing us to be more efficient and cost effective. We pass these savings and quicker production times along to you, thus the reason for some larger mounts being less expensive and having faster turnaround times then a smaller size which we have to make from scratch.
Depending on the sub specie of snapper they can look completely different from other snappers. If you are looking to commemorate a catch with one of our snapper mounts then we suggest providing a picture of your catch so we can paint your new snapper replica to look just like your fish. Should you not have a picture or just looking to use a snapper mount as decoration then our artists will paint the snapper as if it was alive and swimming underwater.
We also hand paint our eyes to give the snapper mount a lifelike eye. Not many fish mount companies take the time to hand paint their eyes, more common is for them to just use a standard gold glass eye or just paint the iris a particular solid color but we add multiple layers of colors and patterns to give depth and realism to the eye.
Shipping Your Snapper MountNearly all snapper mounts will be shipped regular ground since their range of size allows us to package within a box system and does not require a crate. Our packaging team is experienced and completely understand the importance of superior packaging to ensure a damage free transit. In the event that the shipping carrier decides to run over your package with their truck or something catastrophic happens we will instantly replace the damaged mount and please keep in mind all of our fish mounts come with a money back guarantee.
Installing Your New Snapper Mount
Your new snapper mount will arrive to you with an easy to hang bracket on the backside of the snapper replica. With two people to help you, hold the mount up on the wall, mark the spot where the bracket touches the wall, drill in a screw or hammer in a nail and then hang your new replica. The "easy level" bracket will allow you to position the mount parallel to the ground or pivoted so that the grouper mount is either swimming up your wall or down your wall. The choice is yours! We do suggest using a drywall anchor if you cannot locate a stud to drill or hammer into.
