This is a half mount fiberglass replica of a Tarpon caught in Sebastian Inlet, Florida. It measures 57 inches long. This is a magnificent mount that has exquisite detail. It is dark blue to green, shading into bright silver on the sides. The last ray of the dorsal fin is extended into a long filament. The coloring can be different in estuarine waters, back country waters or ocean waters. We can paint your fish to match any photo. Tarpon have huge scales and large mouth. You can see why they call it "The Silver King".

Each replicas overall length is determined by measuring from the tip of the mouth (or bill) and running along the lateral line to the fork in the tail and then running the distance from the fork to the end of  the longest tail length.  All length measurements have the possibility of being off by a small percentage since we are fabricating in fiberglass using a grinding technique.
